Patricia Flowers Jacobina is a native of western Pennsylvania and a graduate of Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pa. As an organ major, Patti accompanied many vocal majors and always had a keen interest in singing. With a move to northern Virginia, her singing blossomed. Patti was a founding member of Voce, a chamber choir from Reston Virginia and performed in several musical theatre productions including Oklahoma, Dreamgirls, and Hair. She has been a soloist with the Harrisburg Singers and is currently a member, and soloist, for Westmoreland Choral Society, Greensburg, PA under the direction of Thomas Octave. Patti recently sang the role as the Evangelist in the Passion of St. Matthew composed by Nancy Galbraith, with the Chorale Society and the chamber group Maestri, of Pittsburgh, PA. Additionally, she performed the same role in Manchester, England with singers from the University of Salford, Manchester and Maestri. During the holiday season, Patti regularly performs as a soloist in Handel’s Messiah. Patti continues her vocal study with Maestro Octave of Pittsburgh PA. “Music is my soul expression”, states Ms. Flowers Jacobina. She has also enjoyed success as a Certified Financial Planner and Senior Vice President with Merrill Lynch and enjoys her free time with her husband, Charles, and son, Logan.
